Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! This month has been great with my sister here and all. Dad keeps reminding us that this is probably going to be our last Christmas when we're all together as a family. Next Christmas Sarah and I will probably be at one of our grandparents' houses for Christmas. But I'm used to having Christmas in different places...When Your a mk you kinda have to be...But it's good for me because it helps me to realize that Christmas isn't all about traditions and stuff like that anyway, although we sometimes think of it that way.
It's about God's gift of salvation to all men! Not to say that it won't be hard being away from my family (it will, I'm sure).

Well, I've gotta decide on a college pretty soon so I can get info on scholarships and stuff. I'm pretty sure where I'm going already but not completely. So whoever reads this, pray for my decision.

End of the Semester

Well, it's the beginning of December and it's been raining pretty constantly for the past 3 days. We love rain here because it makes the grass grow and increases our water supply! It also kinda makes me think of Christmas since I've known Christmas in Brazil my whole life and it's usually raining around Christmas time.

I'm finishing up school this week, hopefully. I still have a book report and a Trig test to take before I'm actually done...but I'm sure I'll get those done soon. Tomorrow I'm going to Fortaleza (a city about 8 hours away) to take the ACT and pick up Sarah at the airport! She'll be staying with us for about a month, so we're all excited. I've taken the ACT before and got a 26, I'm going for maybe a 28 or 29 now.

Our Christmas choir (made up of members of almost all the churches in our area) is giving it's first presentation tonight!! I'll be singing and playing the violin and trumpet. This is kinda exciting for me since I arranged the songs we're singing and helped Dad organize the choir.

I'll put up some pics later of the choir and whatever else I feel like.
